First Nadal, now Auger-Aliassime: Coric continues surprise run in Cincinnati

In what has been his best tournament in well over a year, the injury-plagued Croat reached the semi-finals of the Western & Southern Open on Friday night. Coric, who had already upset Rafael Nadal earlier in the week, ousted No 7 seed Felix Auger-Aliassime 6-4, 6-4 in the third of four quarter-final matches at the Cincinnati Masters 1000.
The world No 152 advanced in one hour and 41 minutes.
Coric awaits either Carlos Alcaraz or Cameron Norrie in the semis.
