Cincinnati Masters: Hurkacz into last 16
Hubert Hurkacz defeated Yoshihito Nishioka 3-6, 7-6 (4), 6-1 on Thursday evening and will play Flavio Cobolli in the next round

Pole Hubert Hurkacz, the No 5 seed, won against Japanese qualifier Yoshihito Nishioka 3-6, 7-6 (4), 6-1 to move into the last 16 of the Cincinnati Masters at the Lindner Family Tennis Center on Thursday evening.
Hurkacz, ranked No 7, will face Flavio Cobolli next.
In the previous round of the Cincy Open, Nishioka, ranked No 52, defeated Serb Miomir Kecmanovic (6-4, 7-5).
