Argentinian Federico Coria advanced to the second round of the Croatia Open by beating Swiss Marc-Andrea Huesler 6-4, 6-2 at the ITC Stella Maris in Umag.
Coria, ranked No 108, will play Swiss Stan Wawrinka, the No 6 seed, next.
