Australian Alex de Minaur, the No 3 seed, reached the final of the Rotterdam Open for the second successive year by winning against Italian qualifier Mattia Bellucci 6-1, 6-2 at the Rotterdam Ahoy on Saturday.
De Minaur, ranked No 8, will face the winner of the match between Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz, the top seed, and Pole Hubert Hurkacz, the No 8 seed, next.
Ahead of his victory, the Australian defeated Belgian David Goffin (6-2, 6-4), Jakub Mensik (6-4, 6-4) and German lucky loser Daniel Altmaier (6-1, 6-4).
Bellucci, ranked No 92, beat Dutch wildcard Mees Rottgering (6-3, 6-2), Russian Daniil Medvedev, the second seed (6-3, 6-7 (6), 6-3) and Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas, the No 6 seed (6-4, 6-2) in the previous rounds of the Rotterdam tournament.
