Grigor Dimitrov won against Alejandro Tabilo 6-3, 3-6, 6-2 on Thursday evening. He’ll play Australian Alex De Minaur, the No 8 seed, in the next round

Bulgarian Grigor Dimitrov completed the quarter-final line-up at the Monte-Carlo Masters on Thursday after he beat Chile’s Alejandro Tabilo 6-3, 3-6, 6-2 at the Monte-Carlo Country Club.
Tabilo had beaten Novak Djokovic in the previous round but world No 18 Dimitrov had too much nous for him as he won through to a meeting with Australian Alex de Minaur, the No 8 seed.
It’s Dimitrov’s fifth time in the last eight in Monte-Carlo and his second Masters 1000 quarter-final of the year to date.
The 33-year-old Bulgarian defeated Chilean Nicolas Jarry (6-3, 6-4) and Monégasque wildcard Valentin Vacherot (4-6, 6-3, 6-1) in the previous rounds of the Monte-Carlo tournament.
Earlier in the tournament, Tabilo, ranked No 32, edged out Swiss wildcard Stan Wawrinka (1-6, 7-5, 7-5) and beat Serbia’s Novak Djokovic, the No 3 seed (6-3, 6-4).
