Dubai Open: Tsitsipas lifts the trophy, beats Auger-Aliassime

Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas, the No 4 seed, defeated Canadian Felix Auger-Aliassime 6-3, 6-3 to lift the Dubai Open trophy at the Aviation Club Tennis Centre on Saturday evening.
In the previous rounds of the Dubai tournament, Tsitsipas, ranked No 11, beat Italian Lorenzo Sonego (7-6 (4), 6-3), Russian Karen Khachanov (7-6 (4), 2-6, 6-4), Italian Matteo Berrettini (7-6 (5), 1-6, 6-4) and Dutchman Tallon Griekspoor (6-4, 6-4).
Auger-Aliassime, ranked No 21, beat Kazakh Alexander Bublik (7-6 (7), 6-7 (4), 6-3), Portuguese Nuno Borges (4-6, 6-3, 7-5), Croat Marin Cilic (6-4, 3-6, 6-2) and French qualifier Quentin Halys (5-7, 6-4, 6-3) earlier in the tournament.
