European Open: Collignon advances to the semi-finals at home

Belgian wildcard Raphael Collignon reached the last four of the European Open at home by defeating Spaniard Alejandro Davidovich Fokina, the No 4 seed, 7-6 (5), 6-1 at the ING Arena in Antwerp on Friday evening.
Collignon, ranked No 90, will play Canadian Felix Auger-Aliassime, the second seed, next.
Ahead of his victory, the Belgian edged out Argentinian Francisco Comesana (7-5, 3-6, 7-6 (10)) and won against No 8 seed Zizou Bergs (6-4, 7-6 (5)).
