Frenchman Arthur Rinderknech won against Serb Miomir Kecmanovic 6-4, 6-2 to reach the second round of the Geneva Open at Tennis Club de Genève, Parc des Eaux-Vives on Tuesday.
Rinderknech, ranked No 72, will play the winner of the match between French wildcard Arthur Cazaux and Pole Hubert Hurkacz, the No 6 seed, next.
