Russian Andrey Rublev, the No 3 seed, won against Bosnian Damir Dzumhur 6-4, 6-3 to reach the second round of the Hamburg Open at Tennis Stadion on Monday.

Rublev, ranked No 17, will face the winner of the match between wildcard Jan-Lennard Struff and wildcard Justin Engel next.
