Korea Open: Top seed Ruud eases into last eight
Casper Ruud defeated Nicolas Jarry 6-2, 3-6, 6-3 on Thursday and will face Yoshihito Nishioka in the next round

Norwegian Casper Ruud, the top seed, advanced to the last eight of the Korea Open by defeating Chilean qualifier Nicolas Jarry 6-2, 3-6, 6-3 at the Seoul Olympic Park on Thursday.
Ruud, ranked No 2, will play Yoshihito Nishioka next.
Jarry, ranked No 111, won against lucky loser Ryan Peniston (6-3, 7-6 (8)) in the previous round of the Seoul.
