Auger-Aliassime advances to fourth semi-final of the season in Los Cabos

Canadian Felix Auger-Aliassime, the second seed, won against American Steve Johnson 6-4, 7-6 (3) to reach the semi-finals of the Los Cabos Open at the Cabo del Mar Sports Center on Thursday.
Auger-Aliassime, ranked No 9, will face the winner of the match between Radu Albot and No 3 seed Cameron Norrie next.
The 21-year-old Canadian won his second consecutive straight sets match this week – having beaten Mexican wildcard Juan Alejandro Hernandez (6-3, 7-5) in the second round.
In the previous rounds of the Open de Los Cabos, Johnson, ranked No 92, won against Argentinian lucky loser Gonzalo Villanueva (7-6 (1), 6-4) and edged out Australian Thanasi Kokkinakis, the No 7 seed (6-7 (3), 6-4, 6-4).
