Los Cabos Open: Auger-Aliassime moves into quarter-finals

Canadian Felix Auger-Aliassime, the second seed, advanced to the quarter-finals of the Los Cabos Open by beating Mexican wildcard Juan Alejandro Hernandez 6-3, 7-5 at the Cabo del Mar Sports Center on Wednesday.

Auger-Aliassime, ranked No 9, will play the winner of the match between Australian Thanasi Kokkinakis, the No 7 seed, and American Steve Johnson next.

In the previous round of the Open de Los Cabos, Juan Alejandro Hernandez edged out Colombian lucky loser Nicolas Barrientos (3-6, 6-4, 6-4).
