Miami champion Mensik moves through to Madrid third round
The Czech will play the winner of the match between American Ben Shelton, the No 12 seed, and Argentinian Mariano Navone in the next round

Miami Open champion Jakub Mensik won against American qualifier Ethan Quinn 7-6 (4), 6-1 to reach the third round of the Madrid Masters at the Caja Mágica on Friday afternoon.
Mensik, ranked No 23, will play the winner of the match between American Ben Shelton, the No 12 seed, and Argentinian Mariano Navone next.
In the previous round of the tournament, Quinn, ranked No 119, beat Serb qualifier Dusan Lajovic (6-3, 6-4).
