Jakub Mensik‘s reward for beating Novak Djokovic in the Miami Open final on Sunday night was not only a hefty cheque but also a new career-high ATP ranking.

The 19-year-old Czech is the biggest climber in the latest ATP rankings, released Monday, climbing 30 places to a new career-high No 24.

Djokovic, who reached his first final since winning the Olympic gold medal last summer, moved up two places to No 5, while Daniil Medvedev dropped out of the top 10 to No 11 after his early exit in Miami.

Despite not playing in Miami due to his ongoing three-month doping ban, Jannik Sinner is still well clear at the top, Alexander Zverev and Carlos Alcaraz both missing the chance to close the gap due to early losses in Miami.
