Monte-Carlo Masters: Cerundolo books spot in second round

Argentinian Francisco Cerundolo won against German lucky loser Daniel Altmaier 6-2, 7-6 (3) to advance to the second round of the Monte-Carlo Masters at Monte-Carlo Country Club on Monday.

Cerundolo, ranked No 22, will play the winner of the match between Russian Karen Khachanov, the No 15 seed, and Cameron Norrie next.
