Queen’s: Cilic defeats qualifier Ruusuvuori to move into last four

Croat Marin Cilic, the No 7 seed, reached the last four of the Queen’s by winning against Finnish qualifier Emil Ruusuvuori 7-6 (2), 6-4 at Queen’s Club in London on Friday evening.
Cilic, ranked No 17, will play Serb Filip Krajinovic next.
Ahead of his victory, the 33-year-old Croat edged out wildcard Liam Broady (6-1, 4-6, 7-5) and beat Kazakh Alexander Bublik (7-6 (6), 7-5).
Ruusuvuori, ranked No 56, beat French qualifier Quentin Halys (6-4, 6-7 (6), 6-4) and defeated wildcard Jack Draper (6-2, 7-6 (2)) earlier in the tournament.
