Rome Masters: Cerundolo cruises into last 16
Francisco Cerundolo won against Sebastian Ofner 6-2, 6-4 on Monday and will play the winner of the match between Italian Jannik Sinner, the top seed, and Dutch lucky loser Jesper De Jong in the next round

Argentinian Francisco Cerundolo, the No 17 seed, reached the last 16 of the Rome Masters by beating Austrian qualifier Sebastian Ofner 6-2, 6-4 at the Foro Italico in Roma on Monday.
Cerundolo, ranked No 18, will play the winner of the match between Italian Jannik Sinner, the top seed, and Dutch lucky loser Jesper De Jong next.
The Argentinian won against Chilean Nicolas Jarry (7-6 (4), 6-3) in the previous round of the Italian Open.
In the previous rounds of the Italian Open, Ofner, ranked No 143, benefited from the abandonment of Spaniard Roberto Carballes Baena (6-3, 0-0) and won against American Frances Tiafoe, the No 15 seed (6-2, 6-7 (2), 6-3).
