Canadian Felix Auger-Aliassime, the second seed, defeated Russian Karen Khachanov, the No 5 seed, 7-6 [5], 6-4 to move into the last 4 of the Dutch Open at the Autotron Rosmalen on Friday afternoon.
Auger-Aliassime, ranked No 9, will play Dutchman wildcard Tim van Rijthoven next.
In the previous round of ‘s-Hertogenbosch, the 21-year-old Canadian won against Dutchman Tallon Griekspoor (7-6 [2], 7-6 [5]), while Khachanov, ranked No 23, won against Chilean Alejandro Tabilo (6-3, 6-3) and edged out Pole Kamil Majchrzak (5-7, 7-5, 7-6 [5]).
