American Learner Tien and Frenchman Luca Van Assche have secured their spots in the Next Gen ATP Finals, which will be held in Riyadh from December 18 to 22.
Tien, aged 18, won three ATP Challenger titles and reached the quarter-finals in Winston-Salem in 2024. He becomes the second American in the field in Jeddah after Alex Michelsen.
Van Assche, aged 20 and a semi-finalist in Jeddah last year, will make his second appearance in the tournament after reaching the third round at the Australian Open and winning eight matches at the ATP Tour level. He is also the second Frenchman to qualify for the Next Gen ATP Finals after Arthur Fils.
Six spots have now been booked in the eight-player field for the 20-and-under event with Jakub Mensik and Shang Juncheng also confirmed in the line-up.
