Sixth seed Felix Auger-Aliassime stormed back from two sets to love down against Slovak Alex Molcan to advance to the third round of the Australian Open on Wednesday.

The Canadian, who had lost his only previous encounter against Molan, lost the first two sets 6-3, 6-3 before coming back to win the next three sets 6-3, 6-2, 6-2 and complete the win in three hours and four minutes on Margaret Court Arena.

The Canadian, a quarter-finalist here last year, hit 23 aces and 59 winners in the match. He will next meet Francisco Cerundolo or Corentin Moutet for a place in the fourth round.
