The Laver Cup will return to London’s O2 for the 2026 edition of the men’s team event, organisers said on Wednesday.
The competition, the brainchild of Roger Federer and his agent, Tony Godsick, was staged in London in 2022, when Federer made his last professional appearance.
London will be the first city to stage the event twice.
“My final match in 2022 was filled with emotion and unforgettable memories – being surrounded by my teammates who were also my greatest rivals – it was everything I could have hoped for,” Federer said in a press release.
“I’m really looking forward to returning to such a meaningful place, this time as a fan, and experiencing the incredible Laver Cup atmosphere once again.”
This year’s competitition, the eighth edition, will be played in San Francisco from September 19 to 21.
