Elena Rybakina has withdrawn from her second-round match vs Jessika Ponchet at the US Open. The exact reason has not been revealed, but the tournament stated that the withdrawal from the last major of the year was due to injury.
The US Open represents the only major at which Rybakina has failed to reach the fourth round, having only won four matches in the past three years at the New York event.
