Roland-Garros: Keys sets up third round clash against Rybakina

Former Roland-Garros semi-finalist Madison Keys scored a hard-fought straight sets win over Frenchwoman Carolina Garcia to advance to the third round of Roland-Garros on Thursday.
Keys, who reached the semi-finals in Paris in 2018 and the quarter-finals in 2019, scored a 6-4, 7-6 [3] win over the former world No 4 Garcia on Court Philippe Chatrier.
Keys, seeded No 22, will next meet the No 16 seed Elena Rybakina. The Kazakh player advanced with a 6-4, 6-0 win over wild card Katie Volynets.
This will be the first meeting between Madison Keys and Elena Rybakina.
