VIDEO: Djokovic sizzles on return to tennis in Dubai with a 6-3, 6-3 win over Musetti
Novak Djokovic eased to a straight sets win over Lorenzo Musetti on his return to the ATP Tour at the Dubai Tennis Championships on Monday.
February 22, 2022
Novak Djokovic, playing in his first match since being deported from Melbourne before last month’s Australian Open, needed just 73 minutes on court to see off Lorenzo Musetti 6-3 6-3.
Djokovic is able to play in Dubai due to the United Arab Emirates not requiring a vaccine mandate to enter the country.
The world number one was roared on by a supportive crowd, and will face either Alex De Minaur or Karen Khachanov next.
