Wimbledon: 10th seed Navarro advances to third round
The American will face the winner of the match between No 17 seed Barbora Krejcikova and American Caroline Dolehide in the next round

American Emma Navarro, the No 10 seed, advanced to the third round of Wimbledon by winning against Russian Veronika Kudermetova 6-1, 6-2 on Thursday.
Navarro, ranked No 10, will face the winner of the match between No 17 seed Barbora Krejcikova and American Caroline Dolehide next at the All England Club in London.
Ahead of her win today, the American defeated wildcard Petra Kvitova (6-3, 6-1) in what was the last match for the Czech at the tournament she has won twice before.
Barring her first round exit at the French Open in May, the American has enjoyed a steady run of form at the Grand Slams over the past year. She reached the semi-finals of the US Open and the quarter-finals at Wimbledon and the Australian Open all within the last year.
Kudermetova, ranked No 46, won against Chinese Lin Zhu (6-3, 6-2) in the previous round of the tournament.
