Eastbourne champion Fritz through to Wimbledon third round

American Taylor Fritz, the No 11 seed, beat British wildcard Alastair Gray in straight sets to reach the third round of Wimbledon at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in London on Thursday.

Fritz, who won the Indian Wells Masters Series title earlier this year and came into Wimbledon after winning the Eastbourne title, won 6-3, 7-6 (3), 6-3 in two hours and five minutes.

the 14th-ranked Fritz will next meet Slovak Alex Molcan, who scored s straight sets win over Marcos Giron.
