Colombian wildcard Maria Herazo Gonzalez won against Hungarian Panna Udvardy, the No 5 seed, 7-5, 6-3 to move into the last 16 of the Barranquilla Open on Wednesday night.
Herazo Gonzalez, ranked No 397, will face Romanian Irina Fetecau next.
