Argentinian Paula Ormaechea moved into the second round of the Cali Open by winning against Pole Weronika Falkowska 5-7, 6-0, 6-1 at the Club Campestre de Cali on Monday.
Ormaechea, ranked No 206, will play the winner of the match between Pole Katarzyna Kawa and Spaniard Aliona Bolsova, the No 3 seed, next.
