No 10 seed Daria Kasatkina reached the last 16 of the Canadian Open by beating Anna Blinkova 6-2, 7-5 at Stade IGA in Montreal on Wednesday evening.
Kasatkina, ranked No 14, will face Marie Bouzkova next.
