Tunisian Ons Jabeur, the No 7 seed, won against American qualifier Ashlyn Krueger 6-3, 6-4 to move into the second round of the China Open on Monday night.

Jabeur, ranked No 7, will play Ukrainian Marta Kostyuk next.
