Italian Lucia Bronzetti moved into the second round of the Cluj-Napoca Open by winning against Romanian wildcard Simona Halep 6-1, 6-1 at the BT Arena on Tuesday evening.
Bronzetti, ranked No 72, will play the winner of the match between Frenchwoman Varvara Gracheva and American Peyton Stearns, the No 3 seed, next.
