Ukrainian Dayana Yastremska reached the second round of the Guadalajara Open Akron by beating Mexican qualifier Ana Sofia Sanchez 7-6 (1), 6-4 on Sunday evening.
Yastremska, ranked No 105, will face the winner of the match between American Robin Montgomery and Belarusian Victoria Azarenka, the No 10 seed, next.
