Dutchwoman Suzan Lamens, the second seed, defeated American qualifier Robin Anderson 6-3, 6-1 to reach the last 16 of the IEB + Argentina Open on Monday evening.
Lamens, ranked No 87, will play the winner of the match between Frenchwoman Leolia Jeanjean and Portuguese Francisca Jorge next.
