World No 7 Ons Jabeur leads the field in the WTA 1000 Guadalajara draw with the Tunisian joined by fellow top 10 players Maria Sakkari and Caroline Garcia in the tournament.

With world No 2 Iga Swiatek pulling out of the event, nine top 20 players remain in the draw. Jabeur will face an American in the second round – either Lauren Davis or Alycia Parks.

Sakkari, seeded second, will face Aussie Storm Hunter or Belarus’ Iryna Shymanovich in the second round. There are 16 seeds in the 56-player draw, with the top 8 seeds receiving first round byes.
