San Diego Open: Potapova upsets top seed Jabeur to move into quarter-finals
The 27th-ranked Russian will play American wildcard Sofia Kenin in the next round

Russian Anastasia Potapova scored the big upset of the week as she knocked out top seed Ons Jabeur in straight sets to move into the quarter-finals of the Cymbiotika San Diego Open on Wednesday.
The 22-year-old Russian needed one hour and 46 minutes to oust the Tunisian star 6-4, 7-6 (4) in second round action. This was the fourth top 10 win of the season for Potapova.
Potapova, ranked No 27 in the world, will face American wildcard Sofia Kenin next.
The Russian edged out American Alycia Parks (6-2, 5-7, 6-4) in the previous round while Jabeur had received a first-round bye.
