Slovenian Kaja Juvan reached the semi-finals of the L’Open 35 de Saint Malo by winning against American Katie Volynets, the No 3 seed, 6-1, 3-6, 6-1 on Friday.

Ahead of her victory, the Slovenian defeated Belgian Greet Minnen, the No 5 seed (6-1, 6-7 (2), 6-3) and Swiss Celine Naef (2-6, 6-2, 6-2).
