Frenchwoman Elsa Jacquemot beat Slovak Veronika Erjavec 6-1, 6-4 to reach the last eight of the Megasaray Hotels Open 1 on Thursday.
Jacquemot, ranked No 141, will face Pole Maja Chwalinska next.
Ahead of her victory, the 21-year-old Frenchman won against wildcard Cagla Buyukakcay (6-2, 6-1).
Erjavec, ranked No 154, won against Frenchwoman Diane Parry, the second seed (7-5, 6-4) in the previous round.
