Andorran Victoria Jimenez Kasintseva advanced to the quarter-finals of the Megasaray Hotels Open 2 by edging out Austrian qualifier Sinja Kraus 6-0, 0-6, 7-6 (4) on Thursday.
Jimenez Kasintseva, ranked No 151, will play Spaniard Jessica Bouzas Maneiro, the second seed, next.
The 19-year-old Andorran defeated wildcard Cagla Buyukakcay (6-3, 6-3) in the previous round.
In the first round, Kraus, ranked No 163, benefited from the retirement of Chinese Sijia Wei, the No 8 seed (4-1).
