Anna Blinkova, the second seed, defeated Uzbek Nigina Abduraimova (6-4, 6-0) to move into the last 8 of the Open BLS de Limoges on Thursday.
Blinkova, ranked No. 50, will play Harmony Tan next.
In the previous round, the Russian won against Ukrainian qualifier Veronika Podrez (6-3, 6-1).
