Spaniard Rebeka Masarova, the top seed, moved into the semi-finals of the Open Internacional Femení Solgironès by edging out Argentinian Nadia Podoroska, the No 5 seed, 3-6, 7-6 (4), 6-4 on Friday.
Masarova, ranked No 71, will face Hungarian Panna Udvardy, the No 3 seed, next.
The Spaniard defeated Cagla Buyukakcay (6-3, 3-6, 6-3) and Swiss Ylena In-Albon (6-1, 6-1) ahead of her victory.
Earlier in the tournament, Podoroska, ranked No 103, edged out Spaniard Irene Burillo Escorihuela (7-5, 3-6, 7-6 (1)) and won against Hungarian qualifier Timea Babos (6-3, 6-0).
