Dutchwoman Arantxa Rus, the second seed, moved into the last 16 of the Open Internacional Femení Solgironès by beating Russian qualifier Alina Charaeva 5-7, 7-5, 6-2 on Tuesday.
Rus, ranked No 91, will play Spanish wildcard Aliona Bolsova next.
