Kazakh Elena Rybakina, the No 4 seed, defeated qualifier Heather Watson 6-4, 6-2 to move into the last eight of the Queen’s at Queen’s Club in London on Thursday afternoon.
Rybakina, ranked No 11, will face German qualifier Tatjana Maria next.
Watson, ranked No 164, won against Kazakh Yulia Putintseva (6-4, 6-3) in the previous round of the Queen’s tournament.
