The halftime show at the Super Bowl always attracts a lot eyeballs. Let’s be honest, oftentimes more people watch it and break it down than they do the big game. This year the tennis community will be talking about it as well, thanks to 23-time major champion Serena Williams, who made an appearance during the halftime show, dancing as part of rapper Kenrick Lamar’s show (video below)
It was a proud moment for Compton, California. The NFL paid tribute to the pair of Compton natives on social media.
Williams couldn’t hide her excitement after the cameo. She tweeted the following:
