Singapore Open: Top seed Kalinskaya stumbles, but finishes strongly to reach semi-finals

Russian Anna Kalinskaya, the top seed, moved into the last four of the Singapore Open by winning against Thai qualifier Mananchaya Sawangkaew 6-3, 4-6, 6-0 at the Kallang Tennis Hub on Friday night.
Kalinskaya, ranked No 18, will play American Ann Li next.
The Russian beat American Caroline Dolehide (6-4, 4-6, 6-2) and Swiss qualifier Simona Waltert (6-2, 7-6 (3)) in the previous rounds of the Singapore Open 2025.
Earlier in the tournament, Sawangkaew, ranked No 132, defeated Chinese qualifier Sijia Wei (6-4, 7-6 (2)) and Spaniard Cristina Bucsa (6-4, 6-4).
