Slovak Rebecca Sramkova advanced to the second round of the Strasbourg Open by winning against Kazakh Yulia Putintseva 6-0, 6-4 at the Tennis Club de Strasbourg on Sunday.
Sramkova, ranked No 41, will face the winner of the match between No 7 seed Barbora Krejcikova and Pole Magda Linette next.
