T-Mobile Polish Open: Siniakova lifts the trophy

Czech Katerina Siniakova, the No 3 seed, won the T-Mobile Polish Open final by beating Swiss Viktorija Golubic, the No 4 seed, 6-1, 6-2 on Saturday.
Siniakova, ranked No 89, defeated Andorran Victoria Jimenez Kasintseva, the No 7 seed (6-4, 6-0), German Ella Seidel, the No 6 seed (6-3, 1-0 ret.), Russian Alina Charaeva (6-3, 6-3) and Thai Lanlana Tararudee (6-1, 1-6, 7-5) earlier in the tournament.
In the previous rounds, Golubic, ranked No 90, defeated Czech Dominika Salkova (7-5, 6-1), Ukrainian Daria Snigur (7-5, 6-3), Belgian Sofia Costoulas (5-7, 6-3, 6-3) and Slovak qualifier Viktoria Hruncakova (1-6, 6-2, 7-5).
