Frenchwoman Chloe Paquet won against Belarusian Aliaksandra Sasnovich 6-4, 6-3 to advance to the final of the Trophée Clarins on Saturday afternoon.
Paquet, ranked No 138, will face second seed Katie Boulter next.
Earlier in the tournament, the Frenchwoman beat Australian Kimberly Birrell, the No 6 seed (7-5, 3-6, 6-3), Russian Anastasia Zakharova (6-3, 6-3) and American Amanda Anisimova, the top seed (3-6, 6-3 ret.).
Sasnovich, ranked No 99, won against Argentinian Maria Lourdes Carle (6-4, 6-2), No 7 seed Katerina Siniakova (W/O) and French wildcard Julie Belgraver (6-4, 6-2) in the previous rounds.
