It’s always nice to hear from legendary Czech Petra Kvitova during Wimbledon. Typically we see her at SW19, where she is a perennial threat to wreak havoc on the women’s draw at the fabled grass-court tournament.
This year we hear from 2011 and 2014 Wimbledon champion Kvitova on social media, with great news! The 34-year-old has announced the birth of her baby boy Petr, born July 7.
Fitting that she has had a Wimbledon baby – watch out for Petr at Wimbledon in two decades.
The former world No 2 had announced her pregnancy on New Year’s Day. She has not played since October of last year.
