Russian Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova reached the quarter-finals of the Upper Austria Ladies by winning against Katie Boulter 7-6 (2), 6-4 at the TipsArena in Linz on Wednesday evening.
Pavlyuchenkova, ranked No 42, will face the winner of the match between Belgian Elise Mertens, the No 4 seed, and Italian Lucia Bronzetti next.
The Russian defeated Italian Martina Trevisan (6-4, 6-0) in the previous round of the Linz tournament.
