American Sofia Kenin advanced to the last 16 of the Veneto Open by winning against Slovenian Tamara Zidansek 6-4, 6-2 at the Tennis Club Gaiba on Monday evening.
Kenin, ranked No 127, will play the winner of the match between Australian Priscilla Hon and Belgian Yanina Wickmayer, the No 8 seed, next.
